There are two double bedrooms both with queen size beds, ensuites and air conditioning. Each bedroom has a TV, DVD player, CD, wireless internet and iPod player, and there are books, games and a DVD library, so even if it's raining there's plenty to do! Enjoy an evening drink on your private deck, taking in breathtaking ocean views from Bass Point to the Royal National Park.
Montclare Bed & Breakfast also has its own Art Gallery located over 2 levels which features many of Richard's oil paintings from past and present. There is a variety of paintings for sale including local scenes, still life and paintings inspired by Richard's overseas travels. Montclare B&B is within easy reach of many local attractions. Stroll through the unique craft shops and specialty stores of Shellharbour Village, or enjoy coffee and icecream in historic Kiama. The numerous local surf beaches include the legendary "Farm" - home to many of the region's best surfers.
For the more adventurous there is scuba diving at Bass Point, and for the kids there's all the fun and water slides of Jamberoo Recreation Park. Hire a tinny and spend a lazy afternoon fishing on Lake Illawarra, or for the nature lover, experience the wonder of ancient Minnamurra Rainforest, home to rare flora and fauna including the elusive lyrebird.
Montclare is also 500m. from the beautiful new Shellharbour Golf Course.
